Varsity Passing Tournament
& Lineman Competition
Dear Athletic Directors
and Coaches,
On July 20th and 21st The Nathanael Foundation is
putting on the 2nd Annual Corona High Shotgun Passing Tournament and Lineman Challenge. We would like to invite you and your team to join us in a tournament that will include competition from schools in 4 different counties. The Nathanael Foundation and the Corona High Staff and Administration are inviting a selective group of 12 teams to bring their “A game” and air it out and show their strength in the lineman challenge.
Passing
Game
Friday is Pool Play. Each team will be seeded in Saturday’s tournament based on their record. Each team will play 3 games Friday and at least 2 games Saturday. Games will be 44 minutes with a 4 minute half. Best of all there is no waiting around. Games will be played on the hour starting at 2:00pm on Friday until finish and starting at 1:00pm on Saturday.
Lineman
Challenge
The Lineman Challenge will be on Saturday the 21st only starting at 8:00am until completion.The big guys will show off their strength and team work in all areas. This includes the lineman push, relay match up, obstacle course truck pull and much more.
Please come out to Corona High’s new state of the art stadium and field turf. The entry fee for the Corona High Shotgun Passing Tournament and Lineman Challenge is $175.00. If you are interested in bringing just your passing team or just your linemen then the entry fee is $100.00. Checks payable to the Corona Gridiron Club.
